Ste Mere Eglise

We started our day by driving to the Airborne Museum in Ste Mere Eglise. Driving into town, you can see the church where John Steele hung from the roof during the battle. He seems quite the local hero. 

The museum was mostly artifacts but they got the gist of what happened. 

We also noted a trend of creepy mannequins. 

At Ste Mere Eglise there is Mile Marker zero of the liberation highway.
