Pointe du Hoc

I always felt "The Greatest Generation" was overplayed. They showed great bravery - most soldiers do. And they had the benefit of a less morally ambiguous war. 

But when you see Pointe du Hoc, you realize it's probably not an exaggeration. 

 

I don't think I can capture the scale of those cliffs.
